Traditional Sauna
Deep heat to relax your body, calm your mind, and support real recovery.
What Is a Traditional Sauna Session?
A traditional sauna session involves sitting in a heated room at temperatures between 80°C and 100°C (176°F–212°F) for a structured period. The dry heat penetrates deep into your muscles and joints, raising your core body temperature and triggering your body’s natural recovery responses.
At Go Sauna & Ice Bath, your sauna session is completely private. You’ll have the space entirely to yourself in a calm, clean environment. Sessions typically last 30 minutes, giving your body enough time to fully relax, sweat, and reset without feeling rushed.
Whether you’re an athlete recovering from training, a professional looking to unwind after a long day, or someone who simply wants to prioritise their health, a traditional sauna session is one of the simplest and most effective ways to support your body.
Why Sauna? The Benefits.
Regular sauna use has been studied extensively and is linked to a wide range of physical and mental health benefits. Here’s what a session at Go Sauna & Ice Bath can do for you:
Muscle Relaxation & Pain Relief: The deep heat loosens tight muscles, eases joint stiffness, and can help reduce chronic pain. If you’ve been training hard or sitting at a desk all day, this is your reset.
Improved Circulation: As your body heats up, your heart rate increases and blood vessels widen, improving blood flow throughout your body. This delivers more oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and organs.
Stress Reduction: Heat exposure activates your parasympathetic nervous system, helping your body shift from “fight or flight” into a calm, relaxed state. Many clients describe it as an instant mood lift.
Better Sleep: A sauna session in the late afternoon or evening can significantly improve sleep quality. The post-sauna drop in body temperature naturally signals your body that it’s time to rest.
Detoxification Through Sweating: Sweating is one of the body’s most effective ways to eliminate waste. A good sauna session promotes deep sweating, helping to flush out toxins and leave you feeling refreshed.
