What to Expect During Your Session

A contrast therapy session follows a structured protocol designed to maximise the benefits of both heat and cold:

  • Arrive & Prepare. Check in at the studio and get settled in your private space. We’ll explain the session structure and answer any questions.

  • Round 1 — Heat. Start in the sauna for 10–15 minutes. Let the deep heat relax your muscles, open your blood vessels, and raise your core temperature.

  • Round 1 — Cold. Move to the ice bath for 1–3 minutes. Focus on controlled breathing as the cold constricts your blood vessels and triggers your recovery response.
